andy & bella is lead free!

Last August Congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). This Act will protect children from products that contain excessive levels of lead. However aspects of this law will require small manufactures of children’s products to test their toys and clothing by a third party lab. Each test could cost as much as $4,000 per item. This additional charge will be devastating for small manufactures and possibly force them to cease producing the products they are so passionate about. Please go the handmade toy alliance to read more on this issue. andy & bella tees with tatts are lead free.

Color Theory

andy&bella spent most of their energy during November and December at our screen printer working on new designs. It's a process that always takes much longer than we anticipate but the end result is ALWAYS very rewarding. Choosing the perfect ink color is one of our most challenging decisions. The color can vary wildly from the Pantone book, computer screen and actual ink in the bucket. We never really now how it's going to come out until we see it on the actual shirt. Sandy is working hard trying to pick the perfect shade of gray that will make our new sneaker shirt a BIG HIT!
Our latest collection will be available in the coming weeks.
